BRATHAY 10 IN 10
7 – 16 MAY 2010

  BRATHAY TRUST

Established in 1946 Brathay has a reputation for pioneering work to support children and young people nationwide. We primarily work with those under the age of 25 who are most disadvantaged or vulnerable, and who have suffered abuse or neglect, social exclusion or who are outside employment, education and training. Our vision is of a society where all children and young people have access to formal and informal education to enable them to fulfil their potential.

They work in partnership with various national and regional youth agencies in helping children and young people overcome difficulties arising from their personal and social circumstances, and give them the skills to make positive choices about their behaviour and attitude.

Brathay Trust
Brathay currently work with over 5000 children and young people each year.

As Brathay Trust celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2006 the revival of the Windermere Marathon and introduction of the Brathay 10 in 10 were being held to celebrate this milestone. These distinctive running events are also being seen as fund raising opportunities to extend Brathay’s charitable work to even more children and young people.

If you would like to support the efforts of the 10 in 10 runners and help some of the UK's most disadvantaged children and young people donations would be gratefully received via our Justgiving Donations Page or by post to Brathay 10 in 10, Brathay Trust, Ambleside, LA22 0HP. Thank You.

“I am honoured to be a Fellow of Brathay Trust and, on behalf of all the participants for this years marathon and everyone involved, would like to say thank you to those who have already donated; your support is very much appreciated”. Sir Christopher Ball
