The importance of our donors can not be underestimated. Established in 1946 Brathay has a reputation for pioneering work to support children and young people nationwide. We primarily work with those under the age of 25 who are most disadvantaged or vulnerable, and who have suffered abuse or neglect, social exclusion or who are outside employment, education and training. Our vision is of a society where all children and young people have access to formal and informal education to enable them to fulfil their potential.
Each year we raise money for a wide variety of programmes for children and young people. Thousands of young people would not have the opportunity to benefit from the Brathay experience, without the generous support of our many donors.
The Brathay Hall Estate has been a location of inspiration for over sixty years. It is our hope that this Brathay vision continues. The Building for the Future appeal is a specific fundraising venture that aims to handle modern demands through long-term sustainable means.
We receive support for our work from a wide range of sources, including individuals, charitable trusts, private and public sector organisations.
